Job Description
Join our team at Paralympic Resident Team as a Swim Instructor and be responsible for leading swimming programs and conducting individual and group lessons for children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is specifically suited for students at who have a strong interest in swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and the talent to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Swim Instructor from to join our team and contribute to our Paralympic Resident Team location in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities:
Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary
Requirements:
Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
Thorough understanding of water safety and survival skills
CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
Strong behavior management abilities, capable of handling challenging situations calmly and professionally
Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, indicating an understanding of working with children in a structured environment
Passion for swimming and working with children.
